Metallic Illusions

This month I have been adding gold leaf, silver leaf and metallic paint to my mermaid painting. I wonder whether I can have her look like a fish from one angle and a human from another...

It's not quite working yet, but I'll keep on trying! It's all about the process, so if it doesn't work, maybe another illusion will emerge instead and I'll go with that instead!
