Last year we learned of a new virus that would change our world. As we experienced the chaos, I drew how I was feeling. I shared my coloring pages as part of a Quarantine Coloring Book to connect with others.
After the shock of the first lockdown, came wave after wave of questions. I drew them, and they became my second Quarantine Coloring Book.
2020 came to a close with little resolution. The sense of loss was immense. I began working on a series of drawings in an attempt to process these feelings, and to honor the many lives lost during a most unusual year. I am hoping to complete the final set of drawings for the 2020 Quarantine Coloring Book trilogy before el Día de los Muertos in November this year.
In 2021 we are beginning to see glimmers of hope. I have started a new series of coloring pages to reflect on where we are today. I would love to hear your thoughts: What or who brings you hope in 2021?
Please feel free to click here to print, color and share the coloring pages from the Quarantine Coloring Books.
My hope is that the Quarantine Coloring Books will provide you with a moment of calm and creativity amidst the chaos.
